 If you are going by train, catch a train going to Leeds.

a. Get off at Whitley  station.

b. Walk on to Selby Road and turn right.

c. Now follow the numbered instructions.

 If you are going by bus, leave the car park through the pedestrian gate.  When it is safe, cross the road, turn left and stop at the bus stop.

a. Board a 401 bus going to Selby.

b. Get off at Selby and look for the bus stand for the 405 service to Doncaster and get on the bus. 

c. Get off the bus in Eggborough at the end of Canon Hall Lane.

d. Walk along Selby Road pavement with the road on your right.

e. Now follow the numbered instructions.

1. Walk over the level crossing and then bear right.

2. Go over the old bridge onto Templar Close ( the old A19)

3. Walk to the end and look for a path that goes over the motorway. It will lead you to an underpass and out to Learning Lane.

4.Turn left on Learning Lane and follow the lane to a main road.

5.Cross the main road at the crossing point and turn right.

6.Walk on the pavement and look for a park on the left and a public footpath.

7.Turn left on the public footpath, through the park and through the edge of a housing
estate on to a field track.
8.Follow the footpath which clings to field edges, goes over a stile and reaches Whitley
Lock.
9.Turn right and walk on the canal bank, with the canal on your left.
10. When you reach a bridge, leave the canal bank on the right and go on to the
roadside.
11. Turn left, cross the road bridge and then turn right to join the canal bank.
12. Walk along the canal bank, with the canal on your right.
13. You will go under a railway bridge and eventually you will reach a road bridge at
Pollington.
14. Just before the bridge, turn left and walk up the ramp on to Bridge Lane.
15. Walk along Bridge Lane to the end and turn right on Main Street, passing the Village
Hall.
16. As Main Street turns to the left, go straight on (East End).
17. At the T Junction, turn left.
18. At the next junction, turn sharp right on a public footpath.
19. Follow this track to T Junction where you need to turn left.
20. Carry straight on and you will reach a farm gate with a pedestrian gap.
21. Go through the gap and onto a minor road.
22. Carry straight on the minor road. Take Care- No pavement.
23. Follow the road round a left-hand bend and over the motorway.
24. Ignore a service road on the right, but shortly after that look for a public footpath
on the right.
25.   Follow this footpath that will lead you to a Heritage Board.
26.   Carry on the footpath to the end, go through a gate onto a tarmac lane.(Little London
Lane)
27. Walk along Little London Lane until you reach a main road where you need to turn
right,
28. Walk to the end on the left-hand pavement and you will reach a major road (A1041).
29. Turn left and follow the pavement until you reach a crossing point, just after Saffron Drive.
30. Cross the A1041 at the crossing point and turn left.
31. Look out for a footpath that goes off to the right, with a Heritage Board next to
it.
32. Turn right on this permissive footpath that will take you to George Street.
33. Turn left onto George Street.

34. You will reach the vehicle entrance to Snaith Station Car Park on the right.
